Intense Combat Reported on Ukrainian Frontlines as Attacks Surge

On February 13, Ukrainian forces encountered a significant uptick in hostilities, with 218 combat engagements recorded across various fronts. The most intense activity was noted in the Pokrovsk direction, where 56 assaults took place, followed by 35 attacks in the Huliaipole sector.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched two missile strikes and conducted 61 aerial attacks, deploying 183 guided bombs. Additionally, 5,873 kamikaze drones were utilized, and 3,133 shellings targeted both populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 89 from multiple rocket launch systems.

Air strikes were reported in several regions, including the settlements of Velykomykhailivka, Kolomiitsi, and Pokrovsk in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as in Samiylivka, Barvinkove, and Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units successfully struck a command post belonging to the invading forces. In the Northeastern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, four skirmishes occurred, with the enemy conducting three air strikes and launching 109 shellings, including 10 from multiple rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna area, the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 15 times near the settlements of Prylipka, Starytsia, Vovchansky Khutory, and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, two attacks were reported near Bohuslavka and Pishchane. The Lyman front saw 17 assaults, with attempts to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Hrekivka, Karpivka, and Derylove.

Ukrainian defenders thwarted 11 attempts by the enemy to advance in the Sloviansk direction, specifically around Platonivka and Zakittne.

One offensive action was noted in the Kramatorsk direction near Nykyforivka. In the Kostiantynivka area, the enemy launched 18 attacks close to Keleban-Bik, Pleshchiyivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders successfully repelled 56 assaults in areas such as Rodynske, Rivne, and Kotlyne, among others. The enemy also conducted two attacks in the Oleksandrivka area towards Ivanivka and Oleksandrihrad.

In the Huliaipole direction, 35 attacks were reported, particularly around Huliaipole and Zahirne. The enemy made three attempts in the Orikhiv direction near Maly Shcherbaky and Plavni.

One unsuccessful offensive action was noted in the Dnipro direction, while no signs of enemy troop formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissya areas.

Ukrainian forces faced a marked increase in combat on February 13, with numerous attacks across various fronts. Key areas of conflict included Pokrovsk and Huliaipole, where significant enemy assaults were recorded.
