Ukrainian energy company DTEK has been ranked among the top five employers for veterans, according to a recent report by delo.ua.
The ranking highlights DTEK’s comprehensive corporate program, “ProVeteran,” which supports veteran employees from mobilization through to professional adaptation and career development.
As part of this initiative, each veteran employee receives personalized support from a coordinator, who may be a fellow veteran or an HR specialist.
The program also integrates training for veterans into the company’s workforce preparation system. Participants undergo a 1 to 1.5-month theoretical training period followed by practical experience, along with career counseling to aid their transition.
Additionally, veterans at DTEK benefit from an extensive health insurance package known as “Veteran+”, as well as psychological support and rehabilitation programs.
DTEK, led by businessman Rinat Akhmetov, has previously been recognized for having one of the best veteran support programs in the industry.
DTEK has been acknowledged as one of the leading employers for veterans, reflecting its commitment to supporting former military personnel through tailored programs and comprehensive training initiatives.
