Recent satellite imagery indicates that a Ukrainian attack on June 8 has resulted in significant damage to fuel storage facilities in Novorossiysk, Russia. At least four to five fuel tanks have been either destroyed or severely compromised at the “Grushovaya” oil depot.
According to reports from Radio Free Europe, the assault is part of a series of strikes that have targeted this location, with earlier attacks in May contributing to the overall damage. In total, estimates suggest that between 10 to 15 tanks have been affected across these operations.
The Ukrainian military’s 1st Separate Drone Operations Center, in coordination with special operations forces and other defense components, executed the strike on the night of June 8. This operation marks a continuation of Ukraine’s strategic efforts to disrupt Russian supply lines amid ongoing hostilities.
