Ukrainian Military Launches Digital Transformation Course in ‘Army+’ App

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has introduced a new educational course within the ‘Army+’ application, focusing on digital transformation in the Armed Forces. This initiative aims to enhance understanding of how digital changes are implemented from battalion levels up to the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The course, consisting of nine lessons, is designed for military personnel and specialists interested in joining or currently involved in digital transformation efforts. It serves as a foundational program to equip participants with essential knowledge.

“The training helps to understand the structure of the military, the roles within it, and how digital solutions progress from concept to functional service,”

the Ministry explained.

The curriculum covers the complete cycle of working with digital solutions, guiding participants on how to identify the needs of their units, manage data, navigate existing systems, and implement new solutions. Special emphasis is placed on the integration of changes within the units’ operations.

“Participants will learn how to assess unit requirements, handle data, and initiate new solutions. A significant focus is on embedding these changes into the work of the units,”

the Ministry added.

Additionally, the ‘Army+’ app currently offers 23 training courses across various topics for Armed Forces personnel, including tactics, drone operations, communication, cybersecurity, and combat planning.

Previously, it was reported that the Armed Forces had selected and engaged digital officers to oversee the implementation of digital solutions within military units.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has launched a new digital transformation course in the 'Army+' app, aimed at enhancing military personnel's understanding of digital solutions. This foundational program includes nine lessons and is part of a broader initiative to integrate digital changes within the Armed Forces.
