Ukraine Launches Fuel Cashback Program to Alleviate Costs

The Ukrainian government has approved a new initiative, known as the “Fuel Cashback Program,” which will allow citizens to receive partial reimbursements on fuel purchases starting March 20. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

The program offers varying rates of compensation depending on the type of fuel purchased:

  • 15% for diesel
  • 10% for petrol
  • 5% for autogas

According to Svyrydenko, participants in the program could save between 2 to 11 UAH per liter of fuel. The maximum cashback amount is capped at 1,000 UAH per person per month.

Set to operate until May 1, the initiative is part of the broader “National Cashback” scheme. A list of participating fuel stations will be made available on the official program resources.

The Ukrainian government has introduced a cashback program aimed at reducing fuel costs for citizens. The initiative offers different reimbursement rates based on fuel type and is set to run until early May.
