Trump Announces Upcoming Visits to Turkey and China in 2026

U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed plans to visit Turkey and China in 2026. This announcement was made during a press event at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, where he showcased a Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar, which will join the presidential fleet.

During his remarks, Trump stated, “We have many trips planned. We will go to Turkey. We will also return to China during the year.” He further mentioned that Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit the United States in September.

“President Xi Jinping will come here in September, but we will also return to China for a major conference that will be held there,” Trump explained.

Trump’s upcoming trip to China follows a previous visit in May 2026, during which he met with Xi Jinping in Beijing. The discussions at that time included trade relations, the U.S. stance on Iran, various conflicts, and the situation regarding Taiwan.

After his May visit, Trump announced that China would be purchasing oil from the United States, a statement that has yet to receive a response from Chinese officials.

President Trump has announced plans for visits to Turkey and China in 2026, with a significant meeting with Xi Jinping scheduled for September. These trips follow previous discussions on trade and geopolitical issues.
