US President Donald Trump has indicated that a document aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict with Iran could be signed in the coming days. During a press conference, he noted that the signing might take place in Europe, with Vice President JD Vance in attendance.
Trump stated, “The documents are almost ready, so we will see. It should be completed fairly quickly.” He also mentioned that he had engaged in discussions with several leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and heads of Gulf states.
On February 28, Israel conducted an attack on Tehran, the Iranian capital. Following this, Trump declared that US military forces had initiated a “major combat operation” against Iran to eliminate perceived threats from the Iranian regime. He accused the Iranian government of funding and training militants in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Hamas in Palestine. The objective of the military operation, according to Trump, is to dismantle Iran’s missile industry and naval capabilities, as well as to prevent any destabilization efforts worldwide.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have launched missiles and drones toward Israel and attacked US military bases in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The European Union reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring regional security and stability in the Middle East.

Trump has threatened to destroy all bridges and power plants in Iran, warning that such actions would have devastating consequences for the Iranian people and could provoke a dangerous regional response.
On April 6, Iran presented a separate ten-point plan to the US and Israel for ending the war through Pakistan.
On April 7, Trump stated he had agreed to suspend bombings of Iran and delay a “devastating attack” for two weeks, provided the Strait of Hormuz was reopened. He indicated that the ceasefire would be mutual and that Iran’s ten-point proposal could serve as a basis for negotiations.
