In Sevastopol, significant restrictions on transportation and large retail operations have been announced, coinciding with a temporary halt in fuel sales. These measures are set to take effect on June 22 and 23, as outlined by Mikhail Razvozhayev, the appointed governor of the occupied city.
According to Razvozhayev’s statement following an operational meeting, fuel will only be available for special service vehicles that maintain essential city functions during this period. Public transport will operate under a revised schedule, running from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, while ferry services will be suspended, allowing only passenger boats to operate.
Large retail establishments, including shopping centers and supermarkets, will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, whereas cafes and dining venues will serve customers from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, street lighting will not be activated due to potential overloads in the electrical networks outside Sevastopol, which may lead to temporary power outages.
All street events have been canceled starting June 22 until further notice. This decision follows earlier reports of power outages affecting various regions in occupied Crimea, attributed to damage in the electrical infrastructure. The local authorities have also announced new restrictions on gasoline sales, limiting purchases to representatives of the occupying government.
Sevastopol is facing new restrictions on transportation and fuel sales due to an ongoing energy crisis. These measures, announced by the local governor, will affect public transport schedules and retail operations over the next few days.
