Russian Forces Strike Rivne and Dnipro on May 31

On May 31, Russian military forces launched attacks on a non-operational facility in Rivne and targeted the city of Dnipro, resulting in significant fires at both locations.

According to Oleksandr Koval, the head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, the facility was struck during the latest aerial assault. He confirmed that, based on preliminary information, there were no reported injuries among the local population. Emergency services were promptly deployed to manage the situation.

Social media users shared images depicting the aftermath of the attack, showing rising smoke and flames. In a related incident, Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported a separate strike on Dnipro, which also resulted in a fire.

Hanzha noted that footage of the smoke and fire from the attack was circulating online. The Ukrainian Air Force had previously issued warnings regarding potential threats from drones and ballistic missiles, highlighting the ongoing risk to civilian areas.
