Russian Attack Causes Damage in Kyiv, Injuring Four

A recent Russian attack in the Darniytskyi district of Kyiv has resulted in significant damage to a residential building, with reports indicating that individuals may be trapped under the rubble. At least four people have been confirmed injured as a result of the strike on the capital.

Kyiv’s Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, provided updates on the situation. Initially, Tkachenko reported four injuries, a figure later confirmed by Klitschko, who stated that medical personnel have transported the injured to hospitals.

As of 5:15 AM, additional damage has been reported across various districts:

  • In the Dniprovskyi district, a residential high-rise was damaged by a Russian drone strike, leading to fires in garages and a parked vehicle.
  • The Holosiivskyi district experienced debris falling onto a roadway and a business center building.
  • In the Solomianskyi district, a vehicle caught fire in a parking lot near a business center, with debris also landing on nearby non-residential structures.
  • In Obolon, missile fragments struck a three-story parking facility and a business center, with debris hitting an apartment on the 12th floor of a residential building, causing a fire. A 25-story unfinished building also sustained damage.
  • The Shevchenkivskyi district reported debris hitting a non-residential building.
  • In Darniytskyi, debris fell in open areas and near non-residential buildings.

A Russian attack in Kyiv has led to injuries and extensive damage across multiple districts, with at least four people confirmed hurt. The situation remains critical as authorities assess the extent of the destruction.
