Russia Launches Large-Scale Attack on Ukraine Using Drones and Missiles

In the early hours of April 25, Russian forces initiated a significant combined assault on Ukraine, deploying strike drones alongside cruise and ballistic missiles. Air raid alerts were issued across most regions of the country as military officials reported a high volume of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukrainian airspace.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the air raid alerts were active in numerous areas by 3:30 AM. The situation prompted immediate responses from local authorities and military units.

Strategic aviation units, specifically Tu-95MS bombers, were reported to have launched cruise missiles during the operation. The Ukrainian military urged residents in affected cities to seek shelter.

“Dnipro – take cover! Missiles and drones are heading towards the city,” the Air Force stated.

Following these warnings, a series of loud explosions were heard in cities such as Kharkiv and Dnipro, indicating the intensity of the attack.

Russian military forces have escalated their offensive against Ukraine with a coordinated attack involving drones and missiles, prompting widespread air raid alerts. Major cities like Kharkiv and Dnipro experienced significant explosions following the initial warnings.
