One individual has died and six others have sustained injuries following a Russian drone strike on the city of Merefa in the Kharkiv region.
The information was confirmed by Oleg Synehubov, the head of the regional military administration, via Telegram. He stated, “In the morning, the occupiers attacked Merefa. As a result of the drone strike, a woman was killed, her age is currently being verified. Six other people were injured.”
According to Synehubov, a 40-year-old woman suffered serious injuries, while three other women aged 30, 42, and 24 were reported to have sustained moderate injuries. All injured individuals have been hospitalized for treatment.
Additionally, two men, aged 26 and 29, experienced acute stress reactions and received assistance on-site.
The attack also resulted in damage to a civilian enterprise in the area.
