The 63-year-old Portuguese manager has signed a contract that will keep him at the helm until June 30, 2029, taking over from Álvaro Arbeloa, who led the team since January 2026.

Throughout his career, Mourinho has also managed notable clubs such as Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Tottenham, Roma, and Fenerbahçe. He has won the UEFA Champions League twice, with Porto and Inter, and has claimed league titles in Portugal, England, and Italy.
