The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation to determine the type of weapon used in a recent attack on the Bilocherkivskyi district. This follows reports of damage to a garage cooperative and nearby buildings.
Investigators are currently on-site to gather evidence. Preliminary assessments from monitoring channels suggested the possibility of an attack involving the “Oreshnik” missile system. The extent of the damage is still being evaluated.
As part of the ongoing response, the prosecutor’s office has updated the casualty figures in the region. In addition to two confirmed fatalities, there are now reports of nine individuals injured as a result of the attack.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces had launched strikes on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and drones. As of the morning, the total number of injured in the capital had risen to 44, with one woman confirmed dead.
