Intense Combat Activity Reported on Ukrainian Frontlines

On May 11, the Ukrainian military reported a significant escalation in combat operations, with a total of 133 engagements occurring since the start of the day. Among these, 26 clashes took place in the Pokrovsk direction alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided an update indicating that Russian forces utilized 4,901 kamikaze drones and conducted 1,926 shelling attacks on various settlements and military positions.

In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, three engagements were noted. Meanwhile, in the South-Slobozhansky direction, Russian forces launched eight assaults against Ukrainian positions.

In the Kupiansk direction, two attacks were reported. The Lyman direction saw 11 assaults initiated by Russian troops, while Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled six attempts by the aggressors to advance in the Sloviansk direction.

Additionally, the Ukrainian forces effectively thwarted 15 assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction. In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces conducted 26 attacks, while two assaults occurred in the Oleksandrivka direction. The Ukrainian military also reported successfully repelling 16 attacks in the Huliaipole direction, and two assaults were recorded near Stepnohirske in the Orikhiv direction.

The Ukrainian military has reported a marked increase in combat activity, with numerous engagements across various fronts. The use of drones and artillery by Russian forces highlights the ongoing intensity of the conflict.
