Fire Breaks Out at Kazan Powder Factory in Tatarstan

A fire occurred on April 14 at the Kazan Powder Factory, as reported by the press service of the Tatarstan regional administration. Authorities indicated that the blaze resulted in partial structural collapses, with the cause attributed to a technological failure.

Several individuals sustained injuries, with reports from the Telegram channel “112,” which is linked to security services, stating that two people were hospitalized, one of whom is in serious condition.

Despite the incident, production at the factory has continued, according to Tatarstan officials. The Kazan Powder Factory is one of the oldest in Russia, specializing in the production of various types of pyroxylin powders and ammunition for nearly all categories of weaponry.

A fire at the Kazan Powder Factory has led to injuries and structural damage, but production remains ongoing. The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns in industrial facilities.
