Collision Involving Passenger Train in Vinnytsia Leaves Passengers Unharmed

A collision occurred at the Braiyliv station in Vinnytsia, involving a freight locomotive and the passenger train “Intercity+” traveling from Kyiv to Przemyśl, according to a statement from Ukrzaliznytsia.

All 576 passengers aboard the train, along with railway staff, reported no injuries. Passengers have been accommodated at the station while a replacement train is en route.

Railway authorities are currently gathering information from passengers regarding their planned connections and are in communication with border services to expedite customs procedures, aiming to minimize delays.

“We are also coordinating with operators from other railways to preserve connections as much as possible,” the company stated.

A train collision in Vinnytsia resulted in no injuries among passengers or staff. Authorities are working to ensure minimal disruption to travel plans.
