Car Accident in Mykolaiv Region Injures Six, Including Four Children

A serious vehicle accident occurred in Voronivka, Mykolaiv region, when a car driven by a 19-year-old veered off a bridge and fell into the water. The incident took place around 12:50 PM and involved a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

According to preliminary reports, the young driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the crash. As a result, six individuals were injured, including four children aged 9, 11, 12, and 15, along with a 40-year-old man and the driver himself. All were transported to a medical facility for evaluation and treatment of various injuries.

The local police are investigating the incident and have classified it under Article 286, Part 1 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which addresses violations of traffic safety regulations. This article carries a potential penalty of up to three years of restricted freedom.
