During a recent press briefing in the Oval Office, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his strong opposition to Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, asserting that he possesses a comprehensive plan to address the ongoing conflict with the nation.
Trump’s comments came in response to a proposal from Iran regarding a potential agreement between the two countries. He criticized the Iranian offer, describing it as “absolutely unacceptable” and labeled it as “foolish.”
The President emphasized that any future agreement with Tehran must include the complete cessation of Iran’s nuclear program. He stated, “You know, in war, you have to adapt; you have to be flexible. You have many plans, but on different days, you need to implement different plans.” This reflects his broader strategy of maintaining a firm stance while remaining open to various approaches.
Despite the evolving nature of negotiations, Trump maintained that his primary demand remains unchanged: Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. He noted that this critical point was absent from Iran’s recent communication.
President Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, criticizing a recent Iranian proposal as unacceptable. He insists that any future agreement must ensure the complete halt of Iran's nuclear program.
