Iranian officials have placed the blame for the increased tensions in Lebanon on the United States. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated that the U.S. bears “direct responsibility” for Israel’s actions and the subsequent developments in the region.
Despite a temporary ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran, significant issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program remain unresolved. Experts suggest that reaching a comprehensive agreement may take considerably longer than the 60 days outlined in current arrangements.
