Ukraine Implements Power Restrictions for Industrial Consumers Amid Ongoing Attacks

On April 1, Ukraine will enforce power limitation schedules for industrial consumers across all regions. This measure is a response to the ongoing impact of hostile attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.

According to the national energy company, Ukrenergo, these restrictions will be in effect from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The decision aims to manage the energy supply more effectively in light of recent disruptions caused by combined assaults on energy facilities.

Ukrenergo emphasized that the situation within the energy system remains fluid, urging the public to stay informed through official announcements from regional energy providers. This advisory highlights the uncertainty surrounding energy availability as the country grapples with the consequences of the attacks.

As of March 31, there are no scheduled power outages for residential consumers. However, industrial users are subject to limitations from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This distinction underscores the prioritization of residential energy needs amidst the ongoing crisis.

Since the fall of 2025, Russian forces have resumed regular assaults on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The attacks intensified during the winter months, coinciding with severe cold spells. In many instances, cities experienced prolonged outages lasting up to a day or more, affecting not only electricity but also water and heating supplies.

Ukraine is set to implement power restrictions for industrial consumers due to ongoing attacks on its energy infrastructure. The measures aim to manage energy supply amid a challenging situation exacerbated by recent assaults.
