Recent military operations conducted by Ukraine’s defense forces have resulted in substantial damage to the port infrastructure in Tuapse, Russia, with estimated losses exceeding $300 million.
Throughout April and into early May, a series of coordinated strikes targeted key facilities, particularly impacting the Tuapse Oil Refinery. The attacks have led to significant destruction of critical components of the refinery, severely affecting its operational capacity.

Subsequent attacks on April 20 resulted in the loss of 24 storage tanks, with an additional four sustaining damage. Furthermore, a strike on April 26 affected a vacuum distillation unit at a refinery in Yaroslavl, a critical component in the oil processing chain.
The situation escalated again on the night of May 1, when Tuapse was targeted by drones of unspecified origin, marking the fourth such attack in a short period. These repeated strikes have raised concerns about the ongoing security of industrial facilities in the area.
