Ukrainian Drones Target Russian Oil Terminal Again

Ukrainian special operations drones have struck the oil terminal at the Ust-Luga port in Russia’s Leningrad region for the second time this week.

The attack occurred overnight, causing significant damage and resulting in a fire at the facility.

Ust-Luga is a vital maritime port for Russia on the Baltic Sea, primarily used for oil exports, including shipments via a so-called shadow fleet.

According to reports, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is actively collaborating with defense forces to disrupt the financial and logistical capabilities of their adversary.

“All oil facilities are essentially part of the Russian military-industrial complex and contribute funds to the Russian budget, which are used to finance the war against Ukraine. Therefore, operations aimed at countering this will continue. Russia will pay a high price for its aggression,” emphasized acting SBU head Yevhenii Khmara.

Ukrainian drones have again targeted the Ust-Luga oil terminal, causing significant damage. This operation reflects ongoing efforts by Ukraine to undermine Russian military funding through strategic strikes.
