Following this meeting, Zelensky remarked that both Trump and Senator Marco Rubio responded positively to discussions about licensing missiles for the Patriot systems.
European allies believe that the changing rhetoric from Washington could create new opportunities for enhancing support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on Moscow.
