Two Dead and Over Ten Injured in Odesa Shelling

In a recent shelling incident in Odesa, two individuals lost their lives and more than ten others sustained injuries, including children who received psychological support following the attack.

Emergency services reported that a three-story residential building was struck, resulting in significant damage and a fire. Six people were injured in this incident.

Additionally, two two-story residential buildings were destroyed, where firefighters rescued one person and evacuated 20 others, including two children. Seven individuals were reported injured in this area.

The State Emergency Service also confirmed that an enemy drone hit a two-story building.

“Unfortunately, two people have died, and one person was injured. Sixteen residents were evacuated from the building,” the emergency services stated.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service worked throughout the night at the sites of the incidents, providing assistance to over 50 residents, including three children, who were experiencing severe stress.

Overall, the Russian attack on Odesa on Friday night resulted in the deaths of two individuals, identified as a married couple aged 75. Additionally, 15 others were injured, with eight currently receiving medical treatment.

Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing, with more than 140 rescuers on-site working to manage the situation.
