Russian Strikes Hit Multiple Ukrainian Cities, Causing Casualties and Damage

On May 25, Russian forces launched a series of missile and drone strikes across Ukraine, targeting several cities including Pavlohrad, Dnipro, and Derhachi in the Kharkiv region. These attacks resulted in numerous casualties and significant destruction.

Key Incidents:

  • Kharkiv Region: 19 injured, one fatality;
  • Dnipro: three injured, two in serious condition;
  • Pavlohrad: number of injured rose to 10;
  • Sumy Region: strike on civilian infrastructure led to a fire;
  • Poltava Region: industrial facility attacked.

The strikes in Kharkiv were particularly severe. According to Oleg Synehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, a missile strike in Derhachi resulted in 19 injuries. Among those hospitalized, 17 suffered from blast injuries, including 15 men and 2 women. Three men are reported to be in critical condition, while the rest are in moderate condition. Additionally, two individuals received on-site medical assistance for acute stress reactions.

Tragically, a 68-year-old man was killed in the attack. The missile strike targeted a civilian enterprise, damaging warehouses and vehicles. Emergency services have since extinguished the resulting fire.

In Dnipro, three men aged 18, 45, and 67 were injured due to the Russian strike. All were hospitalized, with two in serious condition. Prior to the attack, the Air Force had warned of a potential ballistic weapons threat.

Pavlohrad also faced significant impacts from the attacks. Early reports indicated one injury, but this number later increased to ten, according to Alexander Hanji, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration. Four individuals were hospitalized, including two men and one woman in serious condition.

In the Sumy region, Russian forces targeted the town of Hlukhiv, striking civilian infrastructure and igniting a fire in a non-residential building. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from this incident.

Meanwhile, in Poltava, a strike hit an industrial facility, but no fires or injuries have been reported as of yet.

On May 25, Russian missile and drone strikes across Ukraine resulted in multiple casualties and extensive damage, particularly affecting Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Pavlohrad. The attacks targeted civilian infrastructure and industrial sites, highlighting the ongoing conflict's impact on Ukrainian cities.
