Russian Missile Strike Damages Naftogaz Facilities in Dnipropetrovsk Region

On the evening of May 18, Russia launched a missile strike involving three ballistic missiles targeting facilities belonging to Naftogaz in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. The attack resulted in confirmed damage and destruction at the sites.

The head of Naftogaz, Serhiy Koretsky, verified the strike, stating, “There is damage and destruction. The extent of the impact can only be assessed after the air raid alert is lifted. Importantly, as of this moment, no personnel at the attacked facilities have been harmed.”

Emergency services are currently on-site to manage the situation. Efforts to monitor the security landscape and assess the aftermath of the attacks are ongoing.
