Russian Forces Fail to Advance in April Amid Significant Losses

In April, Russian military units operating in the Alexandrovsky direction were unable to make any territorial gains, despite incurring substantial losses in personnel and equipment.

Throughout the month, the 37th Separate Marine Brigade reported that the enemy achieved no progress, with a total advancement of 0.0 square kilometers.

Efforts to advance were met with considerable casualties. According to Ukrainian sources, 274 Russian servicemen were killed, along with the destruction of three tanks, three artillery systems, an infantry fighting vehicle, and 16 other pieces of equipment.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces successfully intercepted and neutralized 135 enemy drones, significantly diminishing the adversary’s reconnaissance capabilities.

Notably, 915 observation and command posts were destroyed, including positions related to drone launches.

These statistics indicate a failure of the enemy’s offensive operations in this sector of the front, highlighting a lack of results amid substantial losses.
