New Members Elected to Ukrainian Parliament Following Recent Vacancies

On June 1, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine announced the recognition of two newly elected members of parliament. Both individuals are required to submit their registration documents within 20 days to officially assume their roles.

Andriy Levus will represent the European Solidarity party in the Verkhovna Rada. His appointment follows the earlier recognition of Denys Pyatygorets as a member of parliament on May 26. However, Pyatygorets subsequently declined the deputy mandate, leading to his designation as someone who did not acquire parliamentary powers.

“At the same time, the Commission recognized Andriy Levus, the next candidate in line from the electoral list of the European Solidarity party, as an elected member of parliament for the specified elections,”

the announcement stated. Pyatygorets was set to replace Stepan Kubiv, whose death was reported on May 18.

Additionally, the Central Election Commission acknowledged Mykola Davydyuk as a new member of parliament representing the Holos party, filling the vacancy left by Volodymyr Tsabal. The termination of Tsabal’s parliamentary powers was effective as of May 27. Davydyuk was ranked 27th on the party’s electoral list during the 2019 elections.

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has confirmed the election of Andriy Levus and Mykola Davydyuk to the parliament, filling recent vacancies. Levus will represent the European Solidarity party, while Davydyuk will join from the Holos party.
