Increased Russian Military Activity in Eastern and Southern Ukraine Amid Ceasefire Claims

Recent reports indicate that Russian forces are intensifying their military operations in eastern and southern Ukraine, despite ongoing declarations of a ceasefire. The highest concentration of confrontations has been observed in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors of the front.

According to the General Staff of Ukraine, Russian troops have made 17 attempts to displace Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the Pokrovsk direction, targeting areas including Bilitske, Nikanorivka, Dorožne, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vasylivka, Molodetske, and Novomykolaivka. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.

In the Kostiantynivka area, seven assaults have been recorded, while four attacks were noted in the Lyman direction. Additional hostile actions have been documented in the Kramatorsk, South Slobozhanske, and Kursk regions.

In the Guliaipole sector, 13 attacks aimed at Ukrainian positions have occurred, with fighting reported near Novyi Zaporizhzhia, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, and other localities.

Furthermore, Russian forces have been actively shelling the Sumy region, with recent strikes affecting areas around Rohizne, Volfyne, Korenyok, Atynske, Ulanove, and Kucherivka.

Currently, there have been no active offensive actions reported in the Kupiansk, Sloviansk, Orikhiv, and Dnipro directions.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense as Russian forces escalate their military efforts in the eastern and southern regions, disregarding ceasefire announcements. The General Staff of Ukraine reports numerous attacks across various sectors, highlighting the ongoing conflict.
