In the early hours of May 15, drone forces executed a series of strikes against military installations in Russia and occupied regions. Among the targeted assets were a Be-200 amphibious aircraft, a Ka-27 helicopter, and a cargo ship carrying munitions.
According to reports, the drone units launched 55 attacks on 23 military targets deep within enemy territory during the night. The strikes were concentrated in areas including Taganrog, Yeysk, temporarily occupied Crimea, and various locations in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions, specifically Berdyansk and Melitopol.
Confirmed hits included:
- Be-200 amphibious aircraft in the settlement of Morskoy (Russia);
- Ka-27 helicopter in the same area;
- Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system in Luhansk;
- Pantsir-S1 air defense system in occupied Crimea;
- Cargo ship with munitions in Berdyansk;
- Training center and rear deployment point of enemy forces in Luhansk.
As noted by military spokesperson Brovdi, the destroyed Tor and Pantsir systems marked the 16th and 17th elements of Russian air defense eliminated by drone forces from May 1 to May 15 alone. Since the operation “PPOpad” began in December, drone units have reportedly destroyed a total of 153 Russian air defense units.
This total includes 108 surface-to-air missile systems, 39 radar stations, and 6 electronic warfare systems. Additionally, the Ryazan oil refinery was also targeted during the operation.
“A separate mass visit of courtesy was conducted at the Ryazan refinery in coordination with deep strike units from SSO, GUR, and others. The Kremlin’s supply line is now under scrutiny,” added a military source known as ‘Madyar.’
Drone forces conducted extensive strikes on Russian military assets and occupied territories on May 15, targeting key equipment and facilities. The operation has resulted in significant losses for Russian air defense systems since its inception.
