Ukrainian military units are actively striking Russian launch sites in Pokrovsk, located in the Donetsk region. This offensive comes as Russian forces attempt to advance in the northern and northwestern directions.
The information was shared by a spokesperson from the 425th Separate Assault Battalion “Skelya” during a broadcast on “Army – Media Forces of Ukraine.” The spokesperson noted that Ukrainian forces consistently engage in fire missions against Russian positions, successfully destroying antennas and launch points.
According to the spokesperson, the enemy is intensifying its presence in Pokrovsk and employing small infantry groups as part of their tactics. Recently, a rotation of Russian troops has occurred, which has altered the composition of their forces.
“There has been a noticeable change in the age demographic of the enemy troops. Recent reports indicate that a captured soldier was born in 2007, and there were even individuals born in 2008. Their level of training appears to be lacking. For instance, a young captive, despite being injured, did not know how to administer first aid. He struggled to understand how to use the tourniquet he had,” the spokesperson explained. “These are contract soldiers. Our units are expanding their control zone and uncovering infiltration attempts.”
Ukrainian forces are intensifying their operations against Russian military targets in Pokrovsk, Donetsk, as Russian troops attempt to push forward. Recent reports indicate a troubling trend of younger soldiers among the Russian ranks, highlighting issues with their training and preparedness.
