Drone Strikes Target Bridges in Occupied Crimea

In the early hours of June 18, drone strikes hit two bridges in the temporarily occupied region of Crimea. The attacks reportedly occurred near the village of Rozdolne in the Ichki district, focusing on a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal.

Witnesses reported hearing approximately 20 explosions in the area, indicating a significant assault. Additionally, the so-called “humpbacked” road bridge, located close to the railway structure, was also struck.

The extent of the damage to both bridges remains unclear. Social media footage captured explosions and a fire near the railway bridge, suggesting a serious impact.

Media reports emphasize the strategic importance of these structures for Russian forces, as they are crucial for transporting heavy equipment and fuel to support military operations in southern Ukraine.

Drone strikes in Crimea targeted key bridges, raising concerns over their strategic significance for Russian military logistics. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
