Ukraine is set to establish a recruitment market aimed at attracting foreign citizens to participate in the defense of the country. This initiative, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, will involve private recruitment firms to identify and pre-select volunteers from abroad.
A primary objective of this initiative is to significantly increase the number of foreign military personnel in Ukrainian units. The plan is to enhance the ratio of foreign fighters among assault troops and infantry to approximately 1:1.
Under this framework, private recruitment companies will be responsible for candidate selection and necessary vetting processes before sending volunteers to Ukraine. This move is intended to create a dedicated market for foreigners wishing to join Ukrainian military units on a voluntary basis.
Analysts have indicated that during the upcoming winter, Russia may alter its tactics for large-scale attacks across Ukraine, potentially expanding the list of targets. In addition to energy infrastructure, railway networks and water supply facilities, which are crucial for the country’s functioning, may also be at risk.
Ukraine is initiating a recruitment market for foreign volunteers to bolster its military efforts. Private firms will play a key role in sourcing candidates, aiming for a balanced integration of foreign personnel within its armed forces.
