Wind speeds are anticipated to reach 15-20 m/s in certain locations, with a northwesterly breeze prevailing, while southeastern winds will be present in the Left Bank region at 5-10 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius, dropping to 10-15 degrees in the western parts of the country. Daytime highs are projected to be between 20 and 25 degrees, with the Left Bank seeing temperatures rise to 23-28 degrees.
Weather Outlook for Kyiv and Surrounding Areas
The forecast for Kyiv on June 8 includes moderate rainfall, with significant downpours possible during the day. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 m/s.
In Kyiv Oblast, overnight temperatures are expected to be between 13 and 18 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees. Kyiv city is predicted to see temperatures of 16-18 degrees overnight and 20-22 degrees during the day.

Earlier reports from UNIAN noted that Vira Balabukh, head of the Applied Meteorology and Climatology Department at the Ukrainian State Emergency Service and the National Academy of Sciences, indicated that the highest temperatures in summer typically occur in July. However, there is some divergence in predictions regarding the average seasonal temperature. Balabukh mentioned that the most significant temperature anomalies this summer are expected in western Ukraine. Additionally, global forecasting centers have previously indicated that the average summer temperature in Ukraine could be 1-2 degrees above normal.
