Late on June 4, two residents in the Koralnyi district of Kherson were injured due to drone strikes attributed to Russian forces. The first incident occurred around 10:30 PM when a drone dropped explosives, injuring a 51-year-old woman. Medical personnel reported that she sustained blast and closed head injuries, along with shrapnel wounds to both legs, necessitating her hospitalization.
Shortly after, at approximately 11:50 PM, another drone attack targeted a 39-year-old man in the same area. He suffered similar injuries, including blast and closed head trauma, as well as shrapnel wounds to his right shoulder and thigh. He was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
This series of attacks followed an earlier incident on the same day, when a drone strike hit a residential building in Koralnyi, injuring a 12-year-old boy. Additionally, Russian forces targeted an ambulance in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, resulting in injuries to three medical staff members. The violence culminated in the death of a 75-year-old man in the Koralnyi district later that evening.
Recent drone strikes in Kherson have resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality, reflecting ongoing violence in the region. The attacks have raised concerns about the safety of civilians amidst the conflict.
