Ukraine and Canada have reached an agreement to initiate joint production of drones intended for the Ukrainian military. This new venture will be established in Canada.
Representatives from the defense ministries of both nations signed the agreement, which outlines the formation of a new company dedicated to manufacturing drones specifically for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The initiative involves the creation of a joint enterprise named Airlogix-Sentinel, a collaboration between the Ukrainian defense technology firm Airlogix and the Canadian drone manufacturer Sentinel Research and Development.
This project is expected to be implemented with the support of the governments of Ukraine and Canada, aiming to expedite the delivery of equipment for reconnaissance and operational planning to Ukrainian defenders.
Moreover, the initiative presents advantages for Canada as well, as it entails an expansion of Canadian manufacturing capabilities in critical technologies and access to effective solutions for modern warfare.
