Timur Tkachенко, head of the Kyiv City State Administration, confirmed that the city faced a coordinated strike with ballistic missiles.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko noted that debris from the missiles was found in areas of non-residential buildings at two locations in the Podilskyi district. Additionally, fragments of a Russian missile impacted a 24-story residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
According to Klitschko, the nine reported injuries stemmed from the attack, with five individuals hospitalized and four treated on-site.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone strike hit a nine-story residential building between the third and fourth floors.
In the Obolonskyi district, drones struck a non-residential building adjacent to a three-story residential structure, as well as a 16-story residential building at the twelfth and thirteenth floors. A fire also erupted in a one-story private house.
In the Solomianskyi district, a drone hit a 24-story residential building, igniting a fire on the 20th floor.
In the Desnianskyi district, a drone impacted a shopping center, with additional reports of a strike on a supermarket.
