Kryvbas Defender Ivan Dibango Demands Salary Payment Amidst Contract Dispute

Ivan Dibango, a defender for Kryvbas football club, has publicly stated that he has not received his salary and bonuses from March to June 2026. The player made his claims while waiting for financial resolution at the club’s office in Kryvyi Rih.

Dibango reported that he has been at the club’s accounting office since 4 PM on Thursday, May 21, due to unpaid wages for the spring months and June. He mentioned that the club had booked a flight for him after the next match, but he intends to remain with the team until the financial issues are resolved. His agent has reached out to the club’s director but has yet to receive a response.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Dibango shared his frustrations, stating, “I have been in the accountant’s office since 4 PM, where I spent the night because she went home. The accountant was supposed to contact the director, and my agent also wrote to him. There has been no response. The club has already booked me a flight after the game, but I cannot leave without receiving what I have earned. I am owed salary starting from March, as well as bonuses. I will not leave here without an answer.”

The management of Kryvbas has refrained from making official comments on the situation. They indicated that the organization operates within legal frameworks and mentioned that the player has the option to utilize legal avenues if he believes that the terms of his contract have been violated.

Dibango has been with Kryvbas since September 2022 and has participated in 19 matches this season, contributing three assists. His current contract with the club is set to expire in June 2026, and there have been no discussions regarding an extension.

The Kryvbas team is currently preparing for their final match of the Ukrainian championship. They are scheduled to play an away game against Oleksandriya on Saturday, May 23, with kickoff set for 1 PM.

Ivan Dibango of Kryvbas FC has raised concerns over unpaid wages and bonuses, leading to a public dispute with the club. As he awaits resolution, the team prepares for its final match of the season.
