Ukrainian military drone crews are reportedly inflicting heavy losses on Russian forces, with an average of 15 enemy soldiers eliminated per month by each unit, according to Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi.
This statement was made during a meeting of the European Union’s Military Committee, where Syrskyi discussed the ongoing operational situation on the battlefield in Ukraine.
He emphasized that Ukrainian drone units are contributing significantly to the conflict across air, land, and sea domains. Despite the challenging conditions, he noted that Ukrainian forces have prevented Russia from achieving its strategic objectives.
Syrskyi highlighted the shift in tactics, stating that, given limited resources, Ukraine is moving from a strategy of attrition to an asymmetric approach. The primary goals include halting the enemy’s advance, launching effective counterattacks, and targeting Russian rear positions, even deep within their territory.
Additionally, he underscored the urgent need for enhanced military supplies, including air defense systems and missiles, to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
