On the night of May 18, Russian forces launched a significant drone attack on the city of Dnipro, resulting in multiple fires across the area.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the assault commenced on the evening of May 17, with drones heading towards Dnipro starting around 8:00 PM. Subsequent waves of drones followed, continuing into the early hours of the next day.
The initial reports indicate that the attack caused fires in at least two locations within the city. One fire occurred on the roof of a residential building, while another was reported at a warehouse storing pyrotechnic materials.
Local official Oleksandr Hanzha noted, “Due to the Russian attack on Dnipro, a fire broke out on the roof of a multi-story building… In the Dnipro district, Russian forces targeted a warehouse containing pyrotechnic products, leading to another fire.”
As of now, there have been no reported casualties resulting from the attacks.
