Between April 29 and the night of April 30, Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a series of strikes against significant Russian military installations, including a major oil refinery and military equipment.
According to military sources, one of the primary targets was the “Orsknefteorgsintez” oil refinery located in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region, Russia. The strikes resulted in hits on the facility, leading to subsequent fires.
This refinery plays a crucial role in supplying the Russian military, producing over 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation kerosene. Its designed capacity allows for the processing of up to 6.6 million tons of oil annually.
In addition to the refinery, Ukrainian forces reported strikes on Russian helicopters, specifically Mi-28 and Mi-17 models, in the vicinity of the settlement of Babki in the Voronezh region.
Further, a Ukrainian attack successfully targeted a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system near Oleksandrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian forces also struck an artillery brigade command post in Lysychansk, located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
Additional targets included an ammunition depot near Kremnivka in the occupied part of Donetsk region and a base for boats in the Black Sea.
Military officials indicate that assessments of the damage inflicted are ongoing. Ukrainian Defense Forces have committed to continuing systematic strikes on critical enemy assets until Russian military aggression ceases.
Ukrainian forces have intensified their offensive operations, targeting key military assets in Russia, including an oil refinery and various military equipment. These strikes are part of a broader strategy to undermine Russian military capabilities amid ongoing conflict.
