On the evening of April 27, Russian forces launched another drone attack on communities in the Sumy region of Ukraine. While some drones were intercepted, several still managed to hit targets, resulting in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
According to local reports, the Romny community experienced significant damage to transportation infrastructure and surrounding structures due to the strikes. Fortunately, residents were able to take shelter in time, and there were no injuries reported. However, a 55-year-old woman did experience acute stress reaction and received medical assistance.
Additionally, the attacks caused disruptions in the power supply for some consumers, and damage was also reported in the residential sector. Recovery efforts are set to begin as soon as the security situation permits.
The Sumy community also faced impacts from the strikes, with damage noted in residential areas and critical infrastructure. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported here either.
