Dnipro Drone Attack Leaves Seven Injured, Including Two Children

A drone strike in Dnipro overnight on Thursday has resulted in seven injuries, including two young girls aged 9 and 14. The local authorities confirmed that the children were taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to regional officials, three adults were also hospitalized, with their conditions assessed as moderate. The attack occurred on April 23, when Russian forces targeted the city, causing damage to residential buildings and igniting fires in various areas.

Footage released by the head of the regional administration showed flames engulfing several apartments on the fourth and fifth floors of a high-rise building, affecting both balconies and interiors. In addition to the residential damage, a vehicle and a store were reported to have caught fire as a result of the strike.

Among the injured adults were two women, aged 62 and 68, who were hospitalized in moderate condition. A 35-year-old man is expected to receive outpatient care.

This attack follows another strike on Dnipro just a day earlier, on April 22, which resulted in damage to residential properties and vehicles. During that incident, drone attacks also targeted the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Odesa. In Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed due to injuries sustained in the assault, which also impacted port and railway infrastructure in the affected areas.

A drone attack in Dnipro has left seven individuals injured, including two children. The incident highlights ongoing hostilities, with previous attacks reported in the region just a day prior.
