A shooting incident in Kyiv has led to the deaths of four individuals and the subsequent death of the assailant during a police operation. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, confirmed that special forces stormed a supermarket where the suspect had taken hostages.
The assailant, identified as a 58-year-old native of Moscow, reportedly opened fire on police officers during the arrest attempt. Prior to the assault, negotiators had attempted to establish communication with him.
