As of April 13, Ukrainian armed forces reported 104 combat encounters along the front lines, according to an update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The report indicates that the enemy launched one missile strike using two missiles, conducted 51 airstrikes, and dropped 186 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 6,213 kamikaze drones were deployed, alongside 2,737 shellings targeting both civilian areas and military positions.
Approximately one-third of the clashes occurred in two key areas of Donetsk: the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 15 enemy assaults in the Kostiantynivka sector, particularly around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Stepaniivka, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 20 attacks, attempting to advance in areas including Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udačne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, and Muravka. One engagement is reportedly ongoing as of the latest update.
Fighting also continued in the Northern Slobozhansky, Kursk, Southern Slobozhansky, Kupiansk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Dnipro directions.
The intensity of hostilities has resumed following a temporary ceasefire that lasted for 32 hours, from 4:00 PM on April 11 until midnight on April 13. Prior to the ceasefire, the General Staff reported that there had been no missile or drone strikes, but 115 assaults and 1,355 artillery shellings were recorded against Ukrainian positions.
Ukrainian forces reported a significant increase in combat activity along the eastern front, with numerous assaults and artillery strikes following a brief ceasefire. Key areas of conflict include Donetsk, where intense fighting continues between Ukrainian and opposing forces.
