General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, conducted a working visit to the Southern Operational Zone, as reported via his Telegram channel on April 11.
During this visit, Syrskyi met with military leadership from various units and command structures involved in countering Russian aggression. He emphasized the importance of improving coordination and interaction among the forces operating within designated areas of responsibility.
The discussions included strategic planning for effective defensive operations. Syrskyi reported that he received briefings from commanders and issued necessary directives to ensure that Ukrainian units are adequately supplied with ammunition, drones, and other logistical support.
According to Syrskyi, Russian forces are reinforcing their positions and continue attempts to shift the momentum of the conflict in their favor. However, he affirmed that Ukrainian Defense Forces are maintaining control over critical frontlines.
“Our objectives remain unchanged: to inflict maximum losses on the enemy to exhaust their resources, liberate Ukrainian territories, and preserve the lives of our soldiers,” the general stated.
General Oleksandr Syrskyi's recent visit to the Southern Operational Zone underscores ongoing military efforts to counter Russian advances. The focus on coordination and resource allocation aims to strengthen Ukraine's defensive capabilities amid continued hostilities.
