On the night of March 29, Russian forces targeted civilian and energy infrastructure in the Odesa region of Ukraine, resulting in power outages across several communities.
Local officials reported that the attacks included strikes on energy facilities, with significant damage noted. “The enemy has again launched insidious strikes against the civilian and energy infrastructure of Odesa. An energy facility has been damaged,” stated the head of the regional military administration, Maxim Marchenko.
In addition to the energy infrastructure, one drone strike hit a private residential building, partially destroying its facade. Damage was also reported in a nearby dacha cooperative.
Emergency services responded promptly to extinguish fires caused by the attacks. As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.
Power supply disruptions were confirmed in multiple localities due to the strikes. “All relevant services are working at the sites of the incidents. An assessment of the damage and efforts to mitigate the consequences are ongoing,” Marchenko added.
