Ukraine Regains Control Over 470 Square Kilometers Amid Ongoing Counteroffensive

Ukraine has successfully reclaimed approximately 470 square kilometers of territory since the onset of its counteroffensive operation in the south, while also neutralizing over 11,000 Russian soldiers. This significant progress highlights the ongoing efforts of Ukrainian forces to regain control in the region.

During a recent working visit to the Southern Operational Zone, the Commander-in-Chief held a meeting with the leadership of the offensive group, along with commanders of assault and airborne assault units. The discussions focused on the execution of combat tasks and strategies for future actions, ensuring coordination among units in their respective areas of responsibility.

“Since the beginning of the operation, we have regained control over approximately 470 square kilometers, eliminating over 11,000 invaders,” he stated. The Commander-in-Chief expressed gratitude to Ukrainian military personnel for their bravery and effectiveness in the fight against the occupying forces, emphasizing that the liberation of Ukrainian land is ongoing.

Ukraine's counteroffensive has led to the recovery of significant territory and the elimination of thousands of enemy troops. The military leadership continues to strategize for further operations as the fight for liberation persists.
