In early March, the Lasar’s Group of the National Guard of Ukraine executed a successful operation in Russia’s Belgorod region, resulting in the destruction of six tanks and two heavy vehicles belonging to enemy forces.
The operation targeted a concentration of military equipment that the adversary had concealed in a forested area, presumably to protect it from aerial surveillance. Utilizing their own drones for reconnaissance, Lasar’s Group identified the enemy assets and relayed the information to strike drone crews.
During the operation, the Ukrainian forces effectively struck the identified targets, with reports indicating that some of the equipment was completely destroyed. A statement from the group noted, “The enemy was likely gathering tanks and heavy vehicles in Belgorod for future deployment in the Kharkiv region. Thanks to the successful actions of Lasar’s Group, this equipment will no longer reach Ukrainian territory.”
